2022 was earmarked by the completion of the “Big Barn”. The Big Barn is our farm recreational event center with a commercial kitchen. We served about 500 kids this summer via the Ultimook Running Camp. He had 2.5 events on our farm each week from the 2nd week of May through the third week in October. The Ultimook Race was also very successful with 110 high school teams, 2,500 participants and 2000 spectators. It remains extremely popular because of the mud pit and river crossings. The big barn inclues a nice big concrete driveway, handicap parking, a sidewalk, border wall, dance floor, and pizza oven. 
Nina Zweifel (our daughter) got engaged in November to Logan Braxling. She’s a sophomore at Oregon State University, studying Ag Business Management. She was in charge of our cutting crew during the summer, showing great leadership. She also ran the office for a week while our office manager was on vacation. We are extremely proud of her!
